Exciting progress continues at East Newington Place, our purpose-built student accommodation development in Edinburgh, as the project advances into its next construction phase.
We recently welcomed the first delivery of prefabricated panels to site – a key milestone in the build. Their arrival marks the beginning of the structure taking shape above ground and sets the tone for rapid progress in the weeks ahead.
Following this, the team successfully completed the first concrete pour, transitioning from substructure works to the formation of the lightweight steel frame. With the podium level now in place, the building is starting to emerge into view and gain its form.
Once complete, East Newington Place will provide 65 high-quality studio apartments, each designed with modern student living in mind. The scheme will feature fully equipped private spaces alongside vibrant communal areas and amenities, offering residents a contemporary, connected lifestyle in the heart of Edinburgh.
